Atomic Vintage Mid-Century H. Stern 18K Yellow Gold Sputnik Ring Size 6.5
Fabulous, iconic, vintage Brazilian jeweler H. Stern "Sputnik" ring in 18K yellow gold. Ring design was inspired by the space race of post-war 1960's.
The spectacular dome is comprised of 19 semi-precious round stones which are about 4mm in diameter and include. Green garnet, red garnet, aquamarine, London blue topaz, pink tourmaline, green tourmaline, peridot, citrine and amethyst. Stones are clean and beautiful with very few striations or inclusions.
The dome measures 3/4" wide x 1/2" tall and the shank is 2mm wide. Ring weight is 3.96 grams. Band is marked 750 and the H. Condition is mostly pristine with very little signs of wear save for some superficial marks at the base of the band.
