Mid Century Burke Tulip Arm Chairs with Yellow Cushions - Functional Issues. This pair of vintage mid century modern Burke tulip chairs in the style of Eero Saarinen are circa 1960. The iconic tulip design has clean lines and elegant curves.

This set of armchairs features a white molded fiberglass seat form on a 360 degree swivel star cast aluminum base with original removable upholstered yellow vinyl cushions. Burke stamp embossed on undersides.

Both chairs have functional issues with the base mechanism. One chair seat is wobbly. One chair mechanism is broken. The seat sits on the base, but is very wobbly. Both chairs show a small gap between base and seat.

Apart from that, chairs are in very good vintage condition. Fiberglass and metal are generally clean with minor marks and chips expected with normal use and original vinyl cushions are clean with no rips or tears.
