The base is firmly affixed to the pot by a screw and rust.There is sound emanating from the inside which I believe is rust pieces as there is some rust present as you can see in the pics. It is attached to the planter with a screw which I did not remove. Original plastic or rubber feet are no longer present. It stands 17 7/8 tall and has an approx. 6 1/4" tall, diameter is 8 1/4" This is in "as found" condition from a New England estate sale.
