This piece is absolutely exceptional! Vintage Martz studio pottery HIPPO. Cream body with a two-tone mottled brown upper body. Signed Ann Martz on the rear right foot and dated with a paper label on his tummy, this big guy measures 11" long x 5" wide x 5 tall.

Small nip to underneath side of left back foot. Not visible from the top or side. Only seen when he is flipped over. From what we've read, these pieces were made in small numbers, so this is such an amazing find!
