The adjustable joint that attaches the shade to the pole is also well-made, super tight and designed without any screws or bolts that tend to loosen and fail over time. My guess is that it was made by the Laurel Lamp Company. The base design is identical to a couple of Laurel floor lamps we have owned, and the overall build quality is above-average compared to many similar-looking mid-century lights. Lamp is in very good condition for its age, showing some minor spots and blemishes, but no serious cosmetic flaws. It is guaranteed to arrive in the condition stated in the above listing description, please read it carefully.
