Oscilating Accordion Door with Shelves Inside, 3 Drawers with Sculptura Front and Two Glass Shelves. Beautiful and Unique Original Piece. Upholstery on Stool is the Original As Well. The Center Circular Dial has Been Pushed in but Otherwise in Excellent Vintage Condition. Willng to Sell all Heywood Wakefield Pieces Listed. All Proceeds Donafed to Charity. The Kohinoor Suite was named for the famous British diamond.
Designed by Ernest Herrmann, it featured concave and convex drawer fronts, which was something new for the Modern furniture line when first introduced. Description The Heywood Wakefield-M146 Kohinoor Vanity was manufactured from 1949-51. Features three small drawers, a tambour door cabinet with shelf and two glass shelves.
The model number is located on the back of the piece and the Heywood Wakefield branding is located on the inside of the top drawer. It comes complete with matching mirror. Dimensions Base: 50"w X 18"d X 23h.
