Vintage Mid Century Modern Illinois Moulding Co Shadow Box Mirror- Gold/Bronze

  

This is a beautiful vintage 1950's-1960's mirrored shadow box/shelf. It is made by Illinois Moulding Company. It is a gold-bronze color.

It is in very good condition especially for it's age- the large center mirror is perfect, the skinny side trim mirror pieces show a little age discoloration, but it is not very noticeable. The scrolley corner pieces are in excellent condition.

This is a small surface crack on the bottom edge of the shelf- it is not all the way through and does not show when hanging/mounted. I included a photo of this.

The whole piece is tight and sturdy- no loose corners or areas. It is 38 inches wide and 24 inches tall, so it is pretty large, but not overly heavy. There are two brackets on the back for hanging. Overall, just a wonderful piece that harkens back to another time.

This came from the non-smoking estate of it's original elderly owner who took great care of it all these years. Thank you for looking, and please check out my other cool items for sale.
