Vintage Mid Century Modern Majestic Z Lamp

  

Vintage Mid Century Modern Majestic Z Lamp. This is a two tier/double shade "Majestic Z" lamp... (Sometimes called the "holy grail" of the Majestic Z Lamps).

This lamp is totally original... (except for maybe the green felt bottom).

The lamp has two rectangular shades with one more shade inside each of the shades. The lamp is teak and brass with brass balls that are on the inside, middle and outside to separate the teak from the brass. The off/on switch has four positions: Off; top light only; bottom light only; and both lights together.

The shade panels are in perfect condition, but there are a few stitches missing on one of the shades (see my photos as they are part of my description). The measurements of this large "Majestic Z" lamp are: 32" H x 26" W x 12 D. This museum quality lamp is the only "Majestic Z" lamp that I have ever seen except in reference books. This lamp will bring your MCM lamp collection to a new level. This lamp is in original patina.
