Base width: approx 9 (corner to corner). This is a gorgeous stunning piece and it works!!

It is a beautiful 2ft Puffy (or quilted) Glass "Antique Oil" Electric Table Lamp. Some call it a GWTW (Gone with the wind) style or Hurricane Glass.

The color at first glance looks red, but some say when the lamp is turned on, it looks like an orange tone. I have Included photos of the lamp on and off, so you can decide. The base is cast metal and the centre collar is a similar bronzy tone coloured metal. Cord is from original conversion looks to be from around the 70s. It has a tri-light function. Top lights up alone, bottom lights up alone or both top and bottom. The red glass base lights up alone with a beautiful red hue to add ambiance to your room. FLAWS NOTED : The only flaw I noted was that the red (or orange) film/paint is beginning to peel. I've included photos of what the peeling looks like.

It might not have been baked properly and the design has started to peeled off revealing the clear glass underneath. This is not noticeable to me unless I look closely for it.
