ITEM: A beautiful and rare pair of 1940-50s Art Deco Asian tropical style rattan club chair with a thick orange naugahyde upholstery. That are similiar to the style and quality of Ficks Reed Mcquire rattan pieces but with better quality cushions. MANUFACTURE: Unknown, but very well constructed chair.... Similiar to Ficks Reed / Mcquire furniture.

They are built to last. Art Deco/Moderne tropical styled chair with long deep arms and lower sleek profile. Very well made of solid rattan with metal joint supports which are nailed and hand tied with reed. Has 4 thick orange naugahyde vinyl back cushions with cotton batting are in great shape and still firm.

The 6 thick seat cushions feature solid oak frame with inner metal coil springs. Very comfortable and cushions are still firm. Overall, in excellent condition for 60 years or so with a few typical age related marks on rattan.

There are no tears or holes in seat or back cushions, great shape. Overall both chairs are solid and clean pieces.
